18 - NAPOLEON SCRIMSHAW DATED 1815 DOUBLE CARVING
Well carved scrimshaw dated 1815 to side, signaling the end of the Napoleonic wars (1803 - 1815). “Napoleon” Bonaparte is depicted on one side and an intricately defined ship battle scene of three mates preparing a cannon for an attack on an opposing ship. Measures: 6 ¼” Height x 2 ½” Diameter (16 cm x 6.35 cm).

46 - 5 PIECE TIFFANY STUDIOS GRAPEVINE & PINE DESK SET
5 piece Tiffany Studios bronze and art glass desk set. The two hinged boxes and smaller letter holder have the grapevine pattern. Larger letter holder has pine pattern. The 5th piece, a vase shaped inkwell, is actually not Tiffany. It is made by Riviere Studios. Riviere studios was a rival company to Tiffany that had the same quality of Tiffany and mimicked almost exactly the Grapevine and Pine patterns by Tiffany. Circa 1900. Small box measures 1 7/8" height x 4 1/2" length x 3 3/8" depth (4.7cm x 11.4cm x 11.4cm). Large box measures 3 3/8" height x 9 1/2" length x 6 1/8" depth (8.5cm x 24.1cm x 15.5cm). Small letter holder 5 1/4" x 6 1/2" length x 2 3/4" depth (13.3cm x 16.5cm x 6.9cm). Large letter holder measures 6 1/4" height x 10" length x 2 1/2" depth (15.8cm x 25.4cm x 6.3cm). Inkwell measures 2 1/8" height (2.1cm).

Tiffany iridescent glass crackle design vase. Beautiful masterfully crafted vase with ribbed body and flared neck. Holds Tiffany Glass & Decorating Company mark to bottom. Louis Comfort Tiffany began producing his favrile glass (favrile meaning hand made) in 1885 under the company name Tiffany Glass Company. In 1892 it became Tiffany Glass & Decorating Company until 1902 when it became Tiffany Furnaces. Measures 6 1/2" height x 5 1/2" diameter (16.5cm x 13.9cm).
