Lot 566 - 18th C CHINESE PORCELAIN CHERRY BLOSSOM TEA BOWL
Antique Chinese Kangxi porcelain cherry blossom tea bowl. Finely crafted with hand painted enameled cherry bloom scene with blue calligraphy poem and seal. Holds Kangxi (1662-1722) six character calligraphy reign mark to bottom in double blue circles. Made of the later part of the period. Measures 2 1/8" height x 2 7/8" diameter (5.4cm x 7.3cm). Total weight of 49 grams. Provenance: Purchased 8-14-1984 from Ralph M. Chait Galleries, New York. Pre-Sale estimate $2500-$3000.
