529 - 18th C. CHINESE IMPERIAL BRONZE TEMPLE BELL
Antique Chinese Imperial bronze temple bell cast with double headed dragon design to top. Shape originated from the Shang & Chow Dynasty, (1766-255 B.C.). Ovoid body has archaic spiked embellishment. Calligraphy to front and back which translates to "a great treasure for eternity" and "a vessel for good luck and long life." 18th century. Bell measures 15" height (38.1cm). Stand measures 21" height (53.3cm).

Antique Chinese copper ding vessel having simple form with four legs and two handles. Has deep brown patina. Holds impressed calligraphy marks to bottom. Made Qing dynasty. Measures 3 3/8" height x 4 3/8" width x 4 3/8" depth (8.5cm x 11.1cm x 11.1cm). Total weight of 944 grams.

Old pair of Chinese enameled cloisonne figures depicting ivory jeweled emperor and empress figures. Each is finely crafted and depicted in seated position holding jade vases with items. Figures have ivory heads and hands. Turquoise and amber beads are used to decorate the figures intricate headdress. The Emperor and Empress have wooden thrones clad with vermeil dragons and floral designs. Throne rests on wooden bases having silver inlay throughout. Vermeil and jade spires set to each post. Has a polychromed ivory plaque set to stairs depicting blue dragon with flaming jewel. Qing period. Measures 24 1/4" height x 16 5/8" width x 15 3/4" depth (61.5cm x 42.2cm x 40cm).
