Antique Chinese hand carved ivory figure figure depicting am old fisherman holding a woven basket with fish to right hand. In his left is bamboo fishing pole with two fish. Signed to bottom of foot. 19th century. Mounted to stylized reticulated terra form teakwood base. Measures 6 3/4" height x 2 1/2" width + 3/4" base height (17.1cm x 6.4cm + 1.9cm). Total weight of 202 grams. Pre-Sale estimate $400-$600.
