Lot 11 - Pr JAPANESE IVORY POLYCHROME KABUKI FIGURES
Beautiful pair of polychromed Japanese ivory kabuki theater dancer figures. One figure depicts a man with long red hair holding up a fan in his right hand with his left knee lifted. The other depicts a man with long white hair, a fox hat on his head and hammer in his right hand while standing with his left foot raised. Both pieces signed to bottom on red plaque by same artist. One measures 3 3/4" height and the other is 4 1/8" hieght. (9.7cm & 10.5cm). Total weight is approximately 123 grams. Pre-Sale estimate $400-$600.
