Beautiful pair of polychromed Japanese ivory kabuki theater dancer figures. One figure depicts a man with long red hair holding up a fan in his right hand with his left knee lifted. The other depicts a man with long white hair, a fox hat on his head and hammer in his right hand while standing with his left foot raised. Both pieces signed to bottom on red plaque by same artist. One measures 3 3/4" height and the other is 4 1/8" hieght. (9.7cm & 10.5cm). Total weight is approximately 123 grams.

21 - FINE RARE CHINESE HAND CARVED JADEITE SNUFF BOTTLE
Exquisite and rare Chinese fully relief carved jadeite leaf form snuff bottle main body resembling a melon or gourd with vines, flowers and leaves climbing down both sides of the front and back with stopper being the main stem with bone spoon. The colors are excellent with the body being of a olive green with tiny russet inclusions and the front flowers, leaves and vines being of a total russet coloring and the tall stem lid having apple green, olive and russet. The surfaces are nicely polished along with fine details. Includes hardwood stand is executed with more of the same designs as the bottle with flowers, stems and leaves in an open work design with the top custom fitted to receive the bottle. 19th/20th century. Includes fitted wooden stand. Measures 3" height x 1 3/8" width + 3/4" base height (7.6cm x 3.5cm + 1.9cm). Total jadeite weight NOT including stand 41 grams.

Stunning hand crafted Chinese carved jade screen having applied carved stones to depict fruit on vines and branches. Jade plaques are mounted with amethyst, lapis lazuli, jade, carnelian and goldstone. Plaques are set in a wooden frame having four panels. Each panel is set with one large and two smaller rectangular plaques. On each panel, a relief carved turquoise floral stone set. At the top of each panel is a stunning relief carved amethyst. Chinese hand carved scholar's desk ink stone carved from swallow stone or bat stone holding ancient trilobites. 500 million year old fossils formed in the Cambrian period of the Palaeozoic Era. The original fossil was found near Beijing, China and given to Edward H. and Natalie F. Coleman by Professor Zhu Chuanyi, Deputy Director of the Asia and the Pacific Region Economic Research Institute (APERI), Research Fellow, Institute of American Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Scienes (CASS) in Beijing, China. 43 - RARE CHINESE NORTHERN SONG PERIOD TING YAO BOWL
Rare Chinese Northern Song Period (960-1127AD) Ting-Yao bowl. This rare item is incised with a lotus flower and leaf pattern on the interior. Beautifully glazed in brown, copper-style around the rim. It also has the typical tear drop effect of all authentic Ding ware. Measures 5 1/2" diameter x 2 1/4" height (13.9cm x 5.7cm). Total weight of 219 grams.

44 - RARE CHINESE NORTHERN SONG PERIOD JADE HANDLED CUP
Rare Chinese northern Song Period (960-1127AD) two handled jade cup. This thinly carved 8 petal shaped cup made from jade is beautifully covered with light copper foil giving it an aged green patina of Ferrous Oxide effects. Measures 7" length from handle to handle x 2" height (17.8cm x 5.1cm). Total weight of 178 grams. Provenance: Exhibited in 1997 at the Cornell fine art museam, entitled "Treasury of the Chinese Nobility".

Large celadon porcelain Chinese glazed brush holder. Heavy scroll worked carvings with 4 evenly spaced Lotus medallions with Chinese characters; this brush holder has bats above each character. Stylized waves around the base along with key fret designs around the mouth finish off this beautiful piece of art. 46 - JUN YAO GLAZED DOUBLE SHAPE CHINESE POTTERY GOURD
Jun Yao glazed double shaped Chinese pottery gourd. Dating from the Yuan (1368-1644AD) to Ming (1279-1368AD), this double gourd shaped piece is robin egg colored with an accent splash of bright crimson on the upper and lower side. The base shows a red coloration of the clay due to high iron content of the pottery. Measures 15" height x 8 1/2" width (38.1cm x 21.5cm). Total weight 2570 gams.

This red lacquer tray with indented corners has a central design of landscape and figurines. Intricate flower designs on the top and back lip complete this beautiful piece.
