Lot 23 - CHINESE IVORY OX WAGON GROUP CARVING
Beautifully carved Chinese ivory wagon group figure. Wagon is being pulled by oxen. The wagon frame is constructed of bamboo. The wagoneer's family is sitting inside the cart. A dog is following along underneath the wagon. Set on an ivory plinth. No apparent signature. Early 20th or late 19th century. Measures 5" height x 10" length x 4 3/8" width (12.7cm x 25.4cm x 11.1cm). Pre-Sale estimate $700-$900.
