Jules Dupré (FRENCH, 1811-1889) oil painting on canvas depicting a landscape scene with rustic farm house near a lake. Signed lower right and dated JULES DUPRE 1869. Holds plaque to front stating "JULIEN DUPRE LANDSCAPE 1851 - 1910" however the plaque is incorrect. Has old price tag to back dated '69 with a price of $7,000. Holds old wax stamp to back of center wooden bar on canvas frame. Authenticity guranteed. Measures 33" height x 47" width + 4" matte & frame (83.8cm x 119.4cm + 10.1cm).
