Rudolf Carl Gorman, American, 1932-2005. A pencil signed, color lithograph of a Navajo woman moving placidly through the chore of beading Indian jewelry, in the linear portrayal style of the artist. Born on a Navajo reservation in Chinle, Arizona, Gorman became legendary for his drawing, paintings and sculptures of colorful, blanketed, generously sized women. Rendered between 1970 and 1985, number 17 of limited edition 200, untitled, and pencil signed by the artist front, lower, left corner, R. C. Gorman. Guaranteed authentic.
