One of the four has a jade stone set in the top with hand painted flowers and butterflies. Also included is a Japanese cloisonne matchbox that depitcs flowers. The matchbox is signed to bottom. Lastly is a Chinese silver round trinket box with inlaid mother of pearl disc. On the disc is a hand painted scene of people. Measures 1" height x 2" diameter (2.5cm x 5.2cm).

18 - 4 EUROPEAN PORCELAIN & ENAMEL BOXES - Lot includes four boxes. The first is a cobalt and gilt Limoges box measuring 1 1/4" height x 2 1/4" diameter (3.2cm x 5.7cm). Next is a Staffordshire Enamels hinged box with bird painting on top of cover and bird nest under cover. Measures 1 3/8" height x 2 1/8" diameter (3.5cm x 5.6cm). Also included is a Bilston and Battersea Enamels and designed by Halcyon days depicting birds at a bird bath on top cover and birds and flowers around the side. Underside of cover depicts a bird on a branch. Measures 1" height x 1 7/8" diameter (2.5cm x 4.7cm). Lastly is a Cartier England "Love" pill box. Measures 5/8" height x 1" diameter (1.7cm x 2.5cm).

26 - ANTIQUE ROYAL WORCESTER COVERED URN C BALDWYN - Incredibly decorated hand painted design by Charles Henry Clifford Baldwyn. Painting depicts Signed "C. Baldwyn" to lower right of painting. Urn is in the Royal Worcester 1572 shape and has the Registration # of 188129. Highly collectible piece of English porcelain. Late 19th or early 20th century. Measures 11" height x 7 1/2" width (28cm x 19cm). Charles Baldwyn was born in 1859, the son of worcester piano tuner and skilled musician Henry Baldwyn. Charles Baldwyn started work at the worcester factory at the age of fifteen and as with all young artists he spent his first year doing menial tasks around the factory. Charles Baldwyn also became very popular among Worcester's well to do customers and his renditions of small birds and landscapes were much sought after. Charley quickly developed his own specialty, notably paintings of flying swans and birds in moonlit scenes. 47 - SHIRLEY THOMSON SMITH MARBLE FIGURE OF GIRL - Depicts a girl sitting on a wooden block base. Signed to back "Shirley T. Smith" and numbered 6/30. Dated 1989. Measures 16 1/2" height (42cm). Born in 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, Shirley Thomson-Smith's art has been deeply and profoundly influenced by the experience of living in Durango, Colorado and traveling through New Mexico. There Shirley Thomson-Smith observed the powerful tradition of Native Americans and was particularly drawn to the strength, character and symbolic role of Native American women. Of the Navajo women, who Shirley Thomson-Smith got to know and respect, she has this to say: "I was fascinated by those women. Their message was a non-verbal transmission of thought, feeling and strength. I've always admired Mexican, African and Indian art. My figures are a synthesis of all these."
